Ireland Women qualify
Ireland have qualified for the 2005 Women's World Cup in South Africa.

They beat hosts Holland in a rain-affected encounter in the IWCC Trophy tournament.

The Irish were dismissed for 156 from the penultimate ball of their innings, with Catriona Beggs making 34, and the Dutch target was then revised to 134 from 41 overs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

They never came close and were restricted to 87-8 as Grealey and Barbara McDonald claimed two wickets each.

Scotland broke their duck with a 57-run victory over Japan.

Kari Anderson's side were bowled out for 142 in 45 overs, but Fiona Campbell took 4-25 as the Japanese could only muster 85 all out in reply.

Holland are likely to be pipped for the second qualifying spot by West Indies, who recorded their third win in four games with a seven-wicket success against Pakistan.

Having bowled out their opponents for 93, with Indomatie Goordial claiming 4-17, the West Indies passed their target with 16 overs to spare and face the win-less Japanese in their next match.

The final group games take place on Saturday, with the tournament final, 3rd/4th and 5th/6th play-off games on Sunday.
