| Saturday, 12 October, 2002, 12:52 GMT 13:52 UK Razzaq breaks wrist ![]() Razzaq inspects his damaged wrist Abdur Razzaq could be out for at least six weeks after breaking his wrist in the second Test against Australia at Sharjah, according to the Pakistan team management. The all-rounder was struck on the left wrist trying to fend off a quick delivery from Brett Lee. He was taken to hospital for an x-ray that revealed a fracture. Razzaq was forced to retire on four as Pakistan slid to 53 all out in their second innings to lose the Test by an innings and 198 runs. Australia wrapped up the three-match series with their second win in a row. Razzaq will certainly miss the third and final Test of the series against Australia that starts on Saturday 19 October. Pakistan captain Waqar Younis said batsman Yousuf Youhana will join the squad if he has recovered from a shoulder injury that has so far kept him out of the series. Razzaq will be a doubt for Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe that kicks off on 7 November with the first of two Tests and five one-day internationals. Pakistan then move on to South Africa and play the first of five one-day internationals on 8 December, followed by two Tests starting on 26 January. |
