Scotland's Millar wins time trial gold

Manx cyclist Andy Roche finished 12th in the Commonwealth Games men's 40km individual time trial in Delhi.

The 38-year-old, who acted as the Isle of Man's standard bearer at the opening ceremony, was taking part in his sixth Commonwealth Games.

Graeme Hatcher was 21st and Tom Black finished 30th in Wednesday's event.

The gold was won by Scotland's David Millar, with England's Alex Dowsett claiming silver and Australian Luke Durbridge the bronze.

The cyclists were the last Manx athletes in action in Delhi.

The Manx team will return with two bronze medals.

Cyclist Mark Christian won bronze in the 40km points race, while shooter Tim Kneale also won bronze in the individual double trap.
