Commonwealth Games: Heartbreak for Jersey's men pairs

Jersey's lawn bowls pair of Malcolm de Sousa and John Lowery were beaten by Scotland in a tie-break after a dramatic semi-final play-off in Delhi.

They lost the first set 9-6 to Darren Burnett and Neil Speirs, before storming back to take the second 10-2.

But despite holding two in each of the first two ends of the tie break, it was 1-1 going into the final third end.

Scotland took it, despite a brave last bowl from de Sousa, so no medal for Jersey despite 9 wins from 12 games.
