Mark Christian could not add a second medal to his bronze from Wednesday's 40km points race on Friday.

The Isle of Man cyclist finished sixth in Friday's 20 km scratch race at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Australian Cameron Meyer added a third gold medal to his collection, winning the race ahead of compatriot Michael Freiberg with Canadian Zach Bell third.

The Isle of Man's Chris Whorrall did not finish the 60-lap race at the Veledrome in India.

Christian said: "We were both aggressive throughout the race but it felt like we were getting ground down as it went on.

"It just wasn't quite happening for us. Our aim was for another medal but we couldn't quite get it."
