The Wales netball team were handed a surprise Commonwealth Games defeat by Samoa on Sunday. The Welsh, who began the tournament with a 78-22 defeat by hosts Australia, lost 49-42 to the Pacific islanders.
At least Wales kept it close against the Samoans, with the day's other group games ending in one-sided victories.
Australia eased to a 70-27 win over Barbados, South Africa beat St Vincent & Grenadines 80-34, and New Zealand hammered Fiji 80-26.
