Olympic heroes Gail Emms and Nathan Robertson helped England start the defence of their badminton team title with a 5-0 group win over Seychelles. Doubles specialist Ella Tripp, who only this week revealed she was 15 weeks pregnant, and Joanne Nicholas came through their match 21-6 21-13.
Aamir Ghaffar and Tracey Hallam won their singles matches comfortably to put England further ahead.
Men's double pair Anthony Clark and Robert Blair ensured the whitewash.
"It's not caused any problem with my build-up," said Tripp, after helping brush aside Juliette Chantal Ah-Wan and Cynthia Course.
"Apart from my coach and Jo I didn't tell anyone on the team about the news until this week and they've all been very supportive."
Olympic silver medallists Emms and Robertson crushed Course and Steve Malcouzane 21-6 21-6 in less than 20 minutes.
England next face Trinidad and Tobago on Friday, with their final pool match against India on Saturday.
