Evander Holyfield continued his quest for a record fifth world heavyweight crown by dispatching Fres Oquendo in a warm-up bout in Texas on Friday. The 44-year-old put Oquendo to the canvas in the first round but the pace of the bout dropped and Holyfield was awarded a unanimous points decision.
The American is now targeting a tilt at the world title in 2007 saying: "My goal is to be champion again.
"I feel good and I'm going for a fifth. When I achieve that I will retire."
