Holyfield wants to retire on top
Evander Holyfield
Holyfield has earned an estimated 80m in the ring
Evander Holyfield is aiming to make another comeback and claims he can reclaim a world heavyweight title.

The four-time champion, 43, has not fought since he lost to Larry Donald in 2004 but is planning a comeback against an unnamed opponent in July.

"I don't think there's a lot of people that want me to quit," said Holyfield, who has earned an estimated 80m.

"If people really knew me, they know I'm supposed to be on top, and that's how I am supposed to retire."

Holyfield was stripped of his medical licence to box by the New York State Athletic Commission after his defeat to Donald.

He would need to regain it before entering the ring again.

George Foreman is the oldest man in history to become heavyweight champion, winning a version of the title aged 45 in 1994.
