Bates was pummeled by the veteran Holyfield last month |
Evander Holyfield has announced that the next fight in his comeback will be against Puerto Rico's Fres Oquendo in San Antonio on 10 November. Holyfield is hoping that a win will help him on his way towards an unprecedented fifth world title.
The 43-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion said: "I want to reach my goal. And that goal is to become a world champion one more time.
"When I do, I'll sit down. Until then, I'm going to be in the battlefield."
Holyfield launched his comeback bid last month with a second-round stoppage of journeyman Jeremy Bates in Dallas.
