Duddy signs deal to fight Campas
John Duddy
John Duddy has claimed 17 straight wins in the pro ranks
Unbeaten Derry middleweight John Duddy will take on former world champion Yori Boy Campas for the lightly-regarded IBA title on 29 September in New York.

Duddy has claimed 17 straight wins since turning pro and along the way has claimed the WBC Americas title.

Campas held the IBF world junior middleweight champion in the mid-1990s and was knocked out by Oscar De La Hoya in his last world title bout in 2003.

The fight will take place at the Theatre Club in Madison Square Garden.

The Mexican has won 88 of his 96 professional bouts.
