Derry boxer John Duddy has pulled out of his planned IBO title fight against Carlos Bojorquez on 10 August. The unbeaten middleweight has been unable to train in recent days because of heat exhaustion so he has opted out of the scheduled Las Vegas bout.
Duddy is hoping to return to the ring at Madison Square Garden in late September when his opponent could be former world champion Yori Boy Camppas.
The Londonderry man has claimed 17 straight wins in the pro ranks.
