Brian Magee will be in action in the National Stadium later this month |
Former IBO super-middleweight champion Brian Magee is to face little-known Belarussian Danill Prakapsou in Dublin on Saturday, 28 January. Magee will meet the Minsk-born fighter over eight rounds at the National Stadium as a warm-up to his title showdown with Carl Froch in March.
Belfast featherweight Kevin O'Hara and Lurgan welterweight Stephen Haughian will also be in action.
Dubliner Bernard Dunne headlines the card, against Noel Wilders.
Wilders is a former European and British champion and pulled out of a contest against Dunne last October.
Magee, who takes on British and Commonwealth champion Froch at the King's Hall in Belfast on 31 March, was added to the Dublin bill last week.
O'Hara, meanwhile, looks set for a real battle with Englishman Steve Chinnock.
