Arthur back with KO win
Alex Arthur
Arthur is desperate to regain his British title
Alex Arthur scored a controversial first-round knockout win over Michael Kizza to win the vacant IBF inter-continental super featherweight title.

Kizza appeared to go down rather too easily after taking a left hook to the side of the head in Edinburgh.

Arthur's hometown fans were far from impressed by Kizza's display, and the result was met by a hail of boos.

Arthur was stunned last year when he lost his British super featherweight crown to Manchester's Michael Gomez.

The Scot is keen to set up a re-match against the Englishman and has been working out in Los Angeles with legendary American coach Freddie Roach.

Gomez is currently preparing for his bout against Ghanaian southpaw Eric Odumasi for the vacant WBU super featherweight title in Manchester.
