Arthur is desperate to regain his British title |
Super-featherweight Alex Arthur will fight Michael Kizza on 27 March in a bid to get his career back on track. The Scot, who lost his British title to Michael Gomez in October, has vowed to beat Kizza when the pair fight for the vacant IBF Intercontinental belt.
And he will have plenty of support in front of his home fans at Edinburgh's Meadowbank Sports Stadium.
"This is the fight where I will prove to my doubters that I'm back and I'll be better than before," said Arthur.
Kizza, 24, is the African champion and has a record of 17 wins from 20 fights with 12 knockouts.

But Arthur, 25, knows that he must knock his foe out to re-establish his reputation.
"This is a very important fight for me in terms of my future. I have to knock Kizza out to prove to people that I am not gun shy after Gomez."
"I believe I have improved since the loss and have made changes to my style and I'm looking forward to showing it on 27 March."
