Brian Magee has won his opening 18 professional fights

Belfast boxer Brian Magee will defend his IBO super-middleweight title on 21 June at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

An opponent for Magee has yet to be announced although promoter Barry Hearn is considering matching the Irishman with former WBC champions Robin Reid and Glen Catley.

Other possibilities include Tony Dodson and South African Andre Thysse.

Hearn was impressed with Magee's performance in his last fight during February when he claimed a unanimous points verdict over Miguel Jiminez.

Magee has won the opening 18 contests of his professional career.

WBF featherweight champion Michael Brodie will top the Manchester bill although hopes that the fight will be against Prince Naseem Hamed look set to be dashed.
