 England scored crucial points for Team GB in Norway |
Oxford's Hannah England was one of Britain's star performers as they came second in the European Team Championships in Norway. The Oxford athlete was runner up in the women's 1500m in a time of four minutes 5.70 seconds. She tried in vain to cut the gap on Anna Mishchenko in the final 60m. "It's always gutting to come that close to winning but I felt good and thought I could catch her but I got the points," England said. GB finished in second place overall behind Russia and held off Germany in third.
