Belfast's Gareth Turnbull finished 60th in a time of 28:56 minutes in Sunday's European Cross County Championships in Tilburg, Holland. Turnbull was part of the Ireland panel, missing top hope Alistair Cragg, which finished eighth in the team event.
Top Irish finisher was Donegalman and Irish champion Gary Murray who came home 12th in a time of 27:41.
Ukraine's Sergiy Lebid won a sixth individual gold, finishing from Spain's Alberto Garcia in a time of 27:09.
