Murray's magical year - June
Andy Murray is forced to retire at Queen's Club but returns to star at Wimbledon, beating Richard Gasquet in a thrilling fourth-round tie

After pulling out of Queen's (top left) with a thumb injury, Murray handles himself superbly in the first week of Wimbledon.

He celebrates a stunning comeback against Richard Gasquet from two sets down by showing off his muscles.

Tim Henman: "Much has been made of the support he gets, yet I don't think there's ever been an issue with the Centre Court crowd getting behind Andy.

"The press sometimes like to make an issue of it, but I think he's got great support."

Muray on the bicep: "I wanted to show that I've worked really hard on my condition. I felt like I was the fitter guy and I'd done a lot of hard work so it was a very satisfying feeling."

June 30th ranking - 11
