London Irish winger Topsy Ojo says he is delighted to have come back strongly this season.

The 25-year-old only made seven appearances last term after battling with a knee injury.

Ojo has already scored five tries this season, including one in last weekend's 23-17 Heineken Cup win over Munster.

"I'm glad to have been able to put that behind me and start afresh this season and things have been going well so far," he told BBC London 94.9.

"I'm just enjoying being back, because it's never nice missing large chunks of the season being injured.

"One of my aims coming back was to score as many as I could and try to catch up from missing last season."

The Exiles have started the season strongly with five wins in their first six outings and after beating Munster, Ojo admits there is pressure to perform.

"As a club we've got to a standard where we really want to push ourselves and test ourselves against the best," he said.

"You need to consistently perform to keep winning those games, so that's where my pressure comes from."

London Irish travel to Welsh outfit Ospreys on Friday, looking for their second win in the Heineken Cup.

The Magners League Champions are unbeaten at home this season, but Ojo admits he is relishing the challenge.

"The Ospreys are a similar quality side, with fantastic players right across the board," he said.

"It's going to be the same intensity, the same ferocity, the same speed, but we're looking forward to it and we know what to expect."
