Lions Watch - Tommy Bowe
Tommy Bowe ran hard all Six Nations

The powerful Irish winger scored the important second try against Wales and was far more effective than opposite number Shane Williams.

He may lack the out and out speed of the Welshman but his hunger for work, footballing ability and physical presence mean they could be partners in the red shirt of the Lions.

With the likes of Brian O'Driscoll, Gordon D'Arcy and Rob Kearney front runners for the Lions his familiarity with their play will do the man from County Monaghan no harm at all when it comes to selection.

VERDICT: In line for a starting berth.
