The Ireland lock was part of a ferocious effort by the champions' pack against Wales but his poor discipline once again let him down. From the first minute, when he got involved in a dust-up with Wales skipper Ryan Jones, he was walking a tightrope. He kept threatening to get in trouble and the moment duly arrived when he foolishly pushed Wales scrum-half Mike Phillips to give away a penalty at a crucial moment - in the heat of battle can the Lions rely on him?
