Andy Gomarsall's remarkable renaissance at scrum-half has been one of England's success stories of the tournament.
However the Harlequins number nine will be up against a crafty operator in France's tactically astute Jean-Baptiste Elissalde.
"Gomarsall has been instrumental to the England team," said World Cup-winning captain Martin Johnson. "The breakdown is so pressurised now that getting the ball away quickly is key.
