O'Gara has developed into one of the world's best number 10s since making his Ireland debut in 2000.

As well as being an astute tactician and line-breaker, O'Gara has the metronomic ability to keep the scoreboard ticking over and has topped the Six Nations points standings for the last three years.

O'Gara has been on two Lions tours - he was the victim of an infamous assault by Duncan McRae in 2001 - and played a key role as Munster claimed the Heineken Cup in 2006.
