"Everyone just sort of looked round at each other and I thought 'I'll make a run'."

Dawson: "Backy was hesitating, thinking 'should I give it to Jonny or not?' Then captain fantastic came from nowhere on a charge and Backy threw it right at him."

Johnson: "It's been reported I made anything from two to five yards, but I didn't make an inch.

"It didn't matter. The important thing was to recycle the ball."
