Richard Agar has had to contend with several high-profile injuries

Hull FC coach Richard Agar is hoping to use the side's week off to welcome back five key first-team players.

Willie Manu, Mark Calderwood, Peter Cusack, Epalahame Lauaki and Shaun Berrigan could all return for their next game, at home to St Helens.

Agar told BBC Radio Humberside: "The week off worked really well for us last time before we played Catalans.

"We're not going to ease up. It means we can be smart with the guys who are banged up and need a bit of a rest."

The Black and Whites are without a game this weekend following their fourth round exit from the Challenge Cup.
