Bradford coach Brian Noble refused to criticise his players after the Super League Grand Final defeat to Leeds but admitted they had underperformed. "It was a tough game, but we made far too many errors at our end of the field and we didn't get down there too many times," said Noble.
"It's about patience and we weren't impatient, but I don't think we were anything like our best.
"Still I'm very, very proud of the boys and I can't fault their effort."
Since taking over as Bradford boss in 2001, Noble has steered the Bulls to the Grand Final every season.
But the former Great Britain hooker accepted things just did not go Bradford's way in a very physical contest.
"I don't know attractive the match was," he said. "There's three or four of my players who are bumped and bruised in there now.
"I don't think we got a great crack of things from the referee either, but I'm not sure about that. I'll have to look at it."
