REFEREE: Just one name to deal with here, with Australia's top official Tony Archer taking the whistle for the game. The interpretation at the ruck has been under scrutiny, with southern hemisphere referees tending to allow far more interference than Super League players are accustomed to. Tonga never got to grips with British referee Steve Ganson against Ireland, conceding an avalanche of penalties, and it very nearly cost them the game. England coach Tony Smith insists he has "no problem" with Archer's appointment, but his players will need to make sure they are absolutely clear about what to expect.
