Nottingham Panthers coach Corey Neilson says his side did not deserve to lose the Elite League top-of-the table clash against Coventry Blaze on Sunday. Panthers led three times with goals from Johan Molin, Dan Tessier and Jade Galbraith but Blaze came back each time to end up 4-3 winners on penalties. Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We worked hard enough to achieve more. "We battled hard and did all the smart plays. Our system out-matched their system and we owned that team." Sunday's tight victory helped Blaze, who also have two games in hand, to stretch their lead over Panthers to two points.
