And the Racing Post's Pricewise recommended the 16-1 winner at 40-1 two months ago.

But the only pair from our 30 listed to select two of the placed horses were award-winning Times journalist Alan Lee and our very own Honest Frank.

Lee had Amberleigh House (third) and Gunner Welburn (fourth).

And Honest Frank, aka journalist Frank Keogh, advised Amberleigh House and Monty's Pass. A �1 each-way bet on his four selections would have yielded a profit of �23.25.
