What happens when a dozen Cambridge and Oxford graduates are given just six weeks training in order to compete in their very own Boat Race?
BBC Three's "The Other Boat Race" put 12 former Oxbridge students through their paces in order to compete in a duplicate version of the world's most illustrious rowing event.
It takes a rower years of practice and hard training to be in the right condition for the Boat Race proper, highlighting the massive task facing the intrepid volunteers.
Of course, those picked for the challenge are no ordinary graduates, but have in fact gone on to enjoy distinguished careers.
IN THE CAMBRIDGE BOAT
News journalist Edward Stourton, Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq, Olympic gold medallist Stephanie Cook, writer and performer Kit Hesketh Harvey, impressionist Jan Ravens and journalist Grub Smith.
They will be helped by professional rowers Guy Pooley, Trisha Corless and Alex Story and will be coached by Olympic gold medallist Greg Searle and Gillian Lindsay.
MAKING UP THE OXFORD CREW
Journalist Toby Young, comedienne Helen Atkinson Wood, former politician Jonathan Aitken, journalist Emma Kennedy, comedian Richard Herring and Sky News presenter Anna Botting.
Joining them will be experienced rowers, Ian Weighell, Joanne Telford and Roger Hirst while former Olympic rowing champion Tim Foster and Martin Cross will be coaching the Dark Blues.
To find out which crew came out on top tune into BBC Three on Monday 22 March at 2100 for the first programme in a series of six.
