Age 33, Paralympic dressage Born Staffordshire Pearson is the undisputed world number one in his sport, with six Paralympic golds to his name. Born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, which left his limbs bent and twisted, he first got into horses watching cowboy films and he learned to ride on a donkey. Riding his trusty horse Blue Circle Boy, he has won five world and three European titles. His successes also include the 2003 British National Championships - a stunning victory over able-bodied riders. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites |
