Maria has won seven indoor world 800m titles and is the reigning champion, which is amazing - and she finished second in the 1999 race. Can she win again? Probably not, but it's phenomenal she's in this position to have a tilt at another title.
Most thought she would have retired three or four years ago, but she's still going pretty strong.
So just for sentimental reasons I wouldn't be too disappointed if she manages to sneak another one to add to her amazing record.
