Leicester Lions now have five of their seven-man team in place for the coming season after announcing Australian John Oliver's return to UK racing.

The 23-year-old joins on loan from King's Lynn, having last ridden there in 2008 when he scored more than 200 points before injury ended his season.

Promoter David Hemsley said: "He is a great prospect.

"During his two spells here John has demonstrated that he has the correct outlook and application to succeed."

Hemsley added: "John has been signed on a loan agreement arrangement with his parent club and he will occupy a second string position in the main body of the team."
