Graversen in action for King's Lynn

Leicester Lions promoter David Hemsley has completed a deal with King's Lynn to bring Danish rider Jan Graversen to Beaumont Park on a full transfer.

The 23-year-old had spells with three clubs last season, finishing at Redcar.

And he ended the campaign in style with a shock victory in the Kenny Smith Memorial Trophy at Scunthorpe.

"Jan will start the season wearing the number six race bib in the team but I fully expect him to work his way out of the reserve berth," said Hemsley.

"On the number of occasions I have watched Jan race I have been impressed with his commitment. This was borne out by his well-deserved win last season at Scunthorpe."
