Waldrom has impressed since his move to Welford Road from Crusaders

Leicester Tigers forward Thomas Waldrom is relishing the chance to get back on the Heineken Cup trail this Saturday.

Tigers, who top pool five with two wins from two, travel to France to play Perpignan and face the same opponents at Welford Road the following Sunday.

Waldrom, who joined in the summer, told BBC Radio Leicester he cannot wait: "This is one of the reasons I came.

"I wanted to be part of the Heineken Cup and get this type of experience - which I am loving at the moment."
