Belle Vue Aces have signed Edinburgh rider William Lawson at reserve for the new Elite League season. The 22-year-old Scot has ridden for Newcastle, Armadale, Edinburgh, Wolves, Berwick and Glasgow, where he had a 6.55 average last season. Aces chief David Gordon said: "William is an Edinburgh asset but he wanted to commit himself full-time to the Elite League. "We are grateful to Edinburgh for their co-operation."
