The Brummies are currently second in the Premier League. |
Birmingham Speedway have confirmed they have booked Glasgow's William Lawson as a guest rider for Wednesday's meet with Somerset Rebels. Lawson, 22, comes in as a replacement for the suspended Tomasz Piszcz who is serving the first of a two match ban. Scotsman Lawson scored 13 points in Glasgow's victory over the Brummies three weeks ago. Brummies boss Graham Drury said: "We're on a high after our weekend wins at Rye and Newport." He added: "If we slip up at home to Somerset then they'll count for nothing. It's a big night for us."
