Walker was 14th fastest in free practice at Monte Carlo

Jersey's James Walker has finished his Renault World Series race in Monaco in eighth place in wet conditions.

In tricky conditions at the Monte Carlo street circuit, Walker finished only six seconds behind the leader.

It is the second time from three events in the series that Walker has managed to finish in the points.

He said: "In retrospect I could have been even higher up in qualifying but, considering these wet races can be such a lottery, I'm delighted."

The Jersey racer is next in action in Silverstone at the beginning of June.
