James Walker says he is ready and confident for the 2008 season |
Two seventh place finishes got James Walker's second season in the Renault World Series off to a solid start. He started in 15th place on the Monza grid on Saturday and 13th the next day, both times pulling himself up into a points finish. The Jersey driver was pleased to perform well on one of his weaker tracks in the series. Walker, who races for Fortec, said: "Considering Monza was our 'bogey track' we got some great results." He added: "I'm happy to have a positive start to the season. I am determined to score points at every opportunity this year." Walker is next in action in Belgium at Spa on Saturday.
