Webb takes Masters lead

The Australian Ladies Masters golf has been reduced to 54 holes after Saturday's third round was washed out.

Leaderboard
- 10 Karrie Webb (Aus)
Laura Davies (Eng)
Rebecca Stevenson (Aus)
Patricia Lebouc (Fr), Lorena Ochoa (Mex), Janice Moodie (Sco), Brenda Ormsby (NZ)

Leader Karrie Webb was one of the 16 groups of players to complete their second round on Saturday after rain had also curtailed Friday's play.

The Australian was 10 under after 36 holes, one shot ahead of Britain's Laura Davies.

After several postponements, the third round was declared a wash-out early on Saturday afternoon.

It is the first time the Ladies Masters has been reduced to 54 holes.

If conditions force Sunday's final round to be abandoned, then Webb will claim her fifth Gold Coast crown in six years.
