Vialli feels it's time to make a return |
Former Cheslea boss Gianluca Vialli says he would be interested in taking over at Tottenham. But Vialli, who is currently working as a television pundit in Italy, insisted it wouldn't be up to him to make the first move.
He told BBC Radio Five Live: "Everyone knows I'm available but I don't like making approaches.
"If they feel I'm the right man I would be happy to sit down and talk about it.
Vialli has not worked in English football for more than a year since being sacked by Watford in June 2003.
Prior to that he managed Chelsea for two years, during which time he won the European Cup Winners Cup and European Super Cup, as well as the League Cup and the FA Cup.

He was replaced by current Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri in September 2000.
Despite his pedigree the former Italian international striker was able to make little impression at Watford and he departed in acrimonious circumstances.
But his experiences at Vicarage Road have not put him off managing and he is keen to return to England.
"I'm available to talk to anyone but I need to get the right offer," he continued.
"I want to work for the right club and the right people.
"It's important to have some understanding with the directors and the chairman and pull in the same direction.
"I'm lucky because I can manage in Italy and England and at the moment I'm happy to be a football analyst.
"I keep an eye on everything that happens in football and hopefully you will soon see me back on the bench managing a team."
