Summer signing Alfie Potter is likely to feature for United against City

Oxford United and Oxford City will kick off their pre-season campaigns this evening when the two teams clash at Court Place Farm on Tuesday.

United manager Chris Wilder is expected to include seven new signings in his squad. Damian Batt is the only injury concern with a slight hamstring strain.

The City squad will feature four new signings, including two former United players in Lee Steele and Alex Fisher.

James Clarke, another former United player, will also be included for City.

The fixture has become an annual pre-season curtain-raiser and is the only friendly in which Oxford United's first team will line up against non-league opposition.
