Forest boss Davies dismisses Adebola link to Ipswich
Adebola has scored three times for Forest this season
Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has dismissed stories linking striker Dele Adebola with a move to fellow Championship side Ipswich Town.
Newspaper reports had suggested that Adebola, 34, was Ipswich manager Roy Keane's number one January target.
But Davies told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's just absolute nonsense. There's not a chance in hell that we'd want to lose Dele Adebola.
"It's all about adding to the squad (in January), not taking away from it."
Adebola has struggled to hold down a regular starting place in Davies' side, but did play for 90 minutes in the FA Cup defeat at Birmingham City in midweek.
Despite this, Davies is insistent that the former Birmingham and Bristol City striker is going nowhere.
"Dele's such a good pro, and such a good example to our younger players," he added.
"Whoever started the speculation, I'm going to have to disappoint them over the coming weeks."
