Lincoln City have extended the loan of Aston Villa midfielder Chris Herd, 20, until the end of the season.

The Australian has played six matches for the Imps since joining for an initial month-long spell in November.

On-loan Notts County striker Delroy Facey, 29, will also remain at Sincil Bank for a further month.

Defender Nathan Baker, 19, has extended his loan spell until 22 January but fellow Villa loanee Eric Lichaj will not be returning to Lincoln.

Manager Chris Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "We're always looking for solutions and this gives us continuity so we're pleased.

"Chris has made a big impact since coming in and I think we've certainly improved.

"Delroy did really well in his last game for us so things are looking up."
