Grimsby Town chairman John Fenty has piled the pressure on manager Neil Woods following their FA Trophy second round exit to Chasetown.
Mariners chairman John Fenty apologised to the club's fans for a "terrible and very disappointing loss" in a statement on their website.
"We have two very important games over the next six days," said Fenty.
"We must pick up points and do well to ensure that we are able to have a chance of a play-off position."
Grimsby's next two games are at home to Kettering on Tuesday followed by the visit of promotion hopefuls Crawley Town to Blundell Park on Saturday.
I am probably the lowest I've ever been in my whole football career and I'm questioning everything

Saturday's defeat by a team three divisions below them has left Woods admitting he is under pressure to save his job.
"The first person you always analyse in circumstances like this is yourself and that's ultimately what I'm doing at the moment," he told BBC Radio Humberside.
"I am probably the lowest I've ever been in my whole football career and I'm questioning everything.
"I think it would be wrong to say things like that after emotion of a game but you have to look at everything."
The 44-year old has spent over 16 years with Grimsby Town as a player, youth team coach and in his current role as first team manager.
He was appointed on a full-time basis in November 2009 following the sacking of former boss Mike Newell.
