Grays Athletic chairman Micky Woodward will stay on as boss of the Conference side until the end of the season. Woodward took over as caretaker manager during the week, after sacking Frank Gray last weekend.
He told BBC Essex: "There won't be anyone coming in. I will be manager until the end of the season and then reassess it in May.
"I just felt it wasn't happening under Frank and there was no point in hanging around, something had to be done."
He added: "I've got everything I need here and I want us to get back to playing how we did under Mark Stimson last season."
