Grays Athletic manager Frank Gray has been relieved of his duties at the Conference club, reports BBC Essex. The former Scotland international was only appointed in May, but has left Grays after Saturday's 2-1 FA Cup defeat at home to Bromley. Grays are ninth in the Conference but have not done as well as expected after they reached the play-offs and retained the FA Trophy last season. No replacement has yet been announced for the outgoing Gray.
