Grays Athletic chairman Mike Woodward has been installed as the Conference club's caretaker manager. Woodward has taken on the role following the dismissal of Frank Gray.
Gray, who was only appointed in May, was sacked after Grays were knocked out of the FA Cup by Bromley in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday.
Woodward was in the dug-out alongside senior player Jamie Stuart as Grays beat Concord Rangers in the Essex Cup on Tuesday night.
