O'Donnell began his career with Liverpool

Crewe defender Danny O'Donnell is confident that his side will build on their impressive home form and continue to climb the League One table.

The Alex's 2-0 win over Colchester on Saturday was their fifth home win of the season but three of those have come in cup competitions.

O'Donnell told BBC Radio Stoke: "We haven't looked like a team that will be threatened by relegation.

"Our home form is good, if we keep that up we will move away from trouble."
